[He Said] Let the relaxing begin!

The Holidays have been great thus far; but man o' man, they have been "go go go".  Jen and I are now home and looking forward to some true down time.  Christmas at my folks', down in the Texas Hill Country, was extra good this year.  My family always has a good time, but there was something about this year that was particularly special.  We got to spend time with extended family that has not always been there on Christmas day in years past; and they all mean the world to us.  The house was bustling with people--six or so households represented at one point--and everything went smoothly.  My mom had the house, meals, and festivities well organized for the crowd.  It was seamless and I think everyone had a good time.  It did, however, take a toll on me.  For instance, one night, my brothers and I stayed up until 4:15 in the morning playing games and such.

Now, we are back home and plan to do as little as possible for the next couple of days.  Of course, we have about 3 days until I go back to attending classes and Jen goes back to teaching them.  I already have reading assignments and prep work to do for my class on Monday, and I'm sure Jen probably has to prep lessons etc. for her kiddos.  So our 3 days or so are not completely fancy free, but I am soooo looking forward to them...

I am hurt that you didn't mention that you got to see me. That should have been a very noteworthy event.
