{She Said} Spring Break 2010 Series: Driving

You know you are compatible with someone when you can spend 35+ hours in the car in one week with them and not have one tiff. I am glad to be reassured of this compatibility now that we have been married for nearly 4 years. Whew.


The routine: Jen shift in the morning, Matt shift through the afternoon, Jen shift early evening. We listened to Eclipse (TWILIGHT #3!) on the way there and then Breaking Dawn (TWILIGHT #4) on the way back. Breaking Dawn is so long that we aren’t even halfway through. Matt is finally making a dent in getting toward the end of the series.

It was funny to hear his reactions to the books. He is a funny fellow indeed.

Side note: Since he saw the first movie, Matt has forbidden me to discuss the books in his presence because he doesn’t want anything ruined for him. So in the presence of my husband, whom I try to be around as much as possible, I haven’t been able to discuss one of my favorite things for a year and a half. Thus my eagerness for him to get through the books.
