Matt is graduating from law school tomorrow. How do I feel about this…
It’s pretty indescribable. What an amazing accomplishment to share with him. I knew him when he was an actor. When he was a teacher. When he decided he wanted more. When he thought about medical school. When he took classes toward Radiology Technology. When he looked into architecture. When he decided on law. When he studied for the LSAT. When he took the LSAT for the second time. When he couldn’t decide between Texas Wesleyan and SMU. When he left for his first law school class. When he came home and walked straight into the study and started reading after his first law school class. Finals. Mock trials. Grad assistance. Briefs. When he found out he would be inducted into the Order of the Barristers. When he realized he had survived law school.
Every step of the way he has amazed me. I am overcome- that’s not a common occurance.
Congratulations, Husband. You make me so proud.
{EDIT} The only reason he took the LSAT twice was that the gentleman sitting next to him at the first sitting was evidently working on being the first person to literally cough up a lung and it was so distracting that Matt just cancelled his score at the end of the sitting and opted to take the test again at the next. It was NOT and would NEVER be due to any lack of ability on Matt's part.
