I like designing things (quilts, furniture, bags, tablecloths, etc) and then having someone else make it. Does that make me a bad person? Lazy? A good delegator?
To all of my handy sewing, woodworking, etc friends: my hat's off to you! If you need a designer, you know my number. I think I'm good but I suppose that's a matter of perspective. I have met quite a few people that think they are good at something and in my head I'm thinking "mmmm, I respectfully disagree." maybe I'm one of those people. I do know that now, anyone that reads this is always going to wonder if I am respectfully disagreeing in my head. No, not with you.
So now we have established that I'm lazy, could be in denial about my talents, and am judgmental to boot. Good one, Jen.

We could go in to business together. I'm a procrastinator and generally only enjoy making things for my own use, so you'll have to run the business end of things, but I can be pretty handy with a sewing machine. I've made curtains, many bags, a few skirts, a winter cloak for my grandmother, stuffed animals, Malachi's quilt, a chair cover (but I will never undertake a project like that again) and some beanbags for a church project. I made my diaper bag if you noticed it the other day. It's quite relaxing and rewarding. I like to have a marketable skill in case this nursing thing falls through...
