{She Said} 9 Months Down

Height: 2 ft 4 in
Weight: 18lbs 9 ozs

Says mama and dada more and more for and to the right person

Pulls up on everything possible

Crawls faster than a speeding bullet

Has basically been sick for the last month is seems- lots of snots and coughs

Wearing mostly 12 mos clothes (some 9 months if we really tug)

Has 6 teeth- two bottom, two top, and then the two outside the top teeth, on either side, are coming in

Eats any fruits and veggies you give him. We started on meats but he got a bit of a rash so we cooled off on that for a bit.

Starting to let go when he is standing and can keep standing for a few beats before plopping down on his booty.

Says water (wadah), bottle (baba), and all done (all dun) and seems to actually know what he is saying/ asking for. For example, the other day he said “wadah baba, wadah baba” I gave his bottle of water to him and he started drinking. Finally he pulled it away and said “all dun” and wouldn’t have any more after that.

Loves bath time. Favorite bath time toy = tub cups.

After examining new things they immediately go in his mouth.

Mimics everything you say. If he has a duck and you say duck, he starts saying duck. Gotta be careful with that.

Loves snacking on puffs.

Favorite nap spot is still on mom or dad.

Has no problem playing on his own as long as you are sitting near.

Drums on everything.

Bed time is moving to be a little earlier.

Reaches for people he wants to be held by.

Claps.

Has a best friend at school that he plays with all day long.

Sits up on his knees a lot.

Starting to learn how to use a sippy cup.

Prefers the hard plastic toys to stuffed animals.

Likes chewing on books.

Never ceases to amaze us with all the new things he is doing and accomplishing!
