Last weekend, our family had some free time and we decided to go to the Fort Worth Zoo! Zach often sees his stuffed animals behind bars, but this was his first time to a real zoo. He is still a bit young to show very much enthusiasm about the animals. Zach did, however, have a very good time. He just loved getting out and soaking in all of the excitement. It was as much fun for him to watch all of the strange people (the crowd had its fair number of bizarre members) as it was to see the animals. Jen and I had a good time as well... after all, it's the zoo!
Mama has already taught him that a good day starts with a good plan. Address the zoo map and get organized.
This was the local cuisine! Jen was finally cornered into eating at a Grandy's with me. It just took one on the zoo grounds to make it happen.

Although these are penguins, the pair in the back are giving Zach a lesson on the birds and the bees.

I love the long graceful neck in this picture. It is gorgeous... The giraffe has a nice neck as well.

"Z" for Zach. "Z" for zebras.
