Going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo!

At the beginning of November, we headed to the zoo for a special event they hold for members. It was nice because there weren't a lot of people there. It was a little difficult because it came with a pretty extreme cold snap that we had to don our hats, coats, and mittens for!

Zach ate breakfast on the road. The drive there took FOREVER due to road construction.

Zach was not impressed.

While he doesn't go out of his way to learn about or talk about animals, Zach really enjoys going to the zoo and seeing the animals. He especially enjoyed the turtles this time around.

We always love checking in on our beloved penguins (or, as Zach calls them, birds of water).

We got to ride the carousel a lot since there weren't a lot of people at the zoo.

We so rarely take couple selfies anymore... not-so-young-anymore love.

 

And then Zach got a 24-hour flu and was out for the count.
