About a week before St Patrick’s Day, my friend mentioned
that her daughter had gotten this idea from school that she should do a
leprechaun hunt. “On it!” I said.
So the children (Zach, Nate and my friend’s girls) woke up
on St. Patrick’s Day to a note from the Leprechaun saying that
after dinner they would have to hunt for his treasure. That evening, we had an
all green dinner of pesto tortellini and broccoli and then the hunt was on.
The children had to follow clues in the order of the colors
of the rainbow and at the end they found the treasure.
Everyone had a blast in their own way.
