Nate- 8 Months

Weight- approx. 21 lbs

• babbling more and more and seeming to organize it better
• seems to understand his name and the word "no"
• loves sitting up and playing wherever you put him but would really prefer to be standing... but not so great with the standing yet
• still swaddled with one arm in and one arm out (feet have been out for months)- can't decide if he still likes it or not... rapidly working toward losing the swaddle
• totally weaned off of nursing (I struggled with this a lot more emotionally than I expected)
• eats 6 times a day... 4 bottle meals (8 oz each) and two baby food meals (8 oz each)
• had fruit for the first time just the other day
• super super smiley
• super clingy to mommy
• loves to be apart of whatever is going on
• likes singing and dancing
• is starting to show an affinity for cars and trucks (wonder if Zach had anything to do with that)
• still working on the crawling thing but scoots and rolls around pretty good to get the job done
