Our Christmas at home was fun! Our first Christmas with little Nate... the boys liked having a buddy (of course Nate's never known anything else). Christmas Eve was our typical tradition of church, pizza, and driving around looking at Christmas lights (Nate didn't love this part). Then Zach put out the cookies, milk and carrots.
The boys were pretty excited about matching PJs... Zach said, "I have stripes and Nathan has stripes!"
The next morning, the boys got up and looks at Santa's offerings before breakfast.
Zach had told all Santas that he wanted a green car with a steering wheel that he could drive on the sidewalk. And Santa came through so after Santa gifts, we all bundled up and went for a walk while Zach drove his green car with a steering wheel on the sidewalk.
Brothers' first Christmas!
After breakfast we exchanged our gifts for each other. It was sweet. Zach had gone shopping for Matt and picked out some green flashlights for him. He was VERY excited to give them to his daddy.
Later my dad came over and I guess he was hungry because he went over and started eating Santa's left over cookie crumbs off the Santa cookie plate. Zach went nuts! "NO AMPA! THOSE ARE SANTA'S COOKIES! NOT FOR AMPA!" Zach talked about that faux pas for weeks afterward.
