Wyatt- 4 Months!

Oh gosh, the woes of the 3rd child. I missed a few monthly updates for this little fellow. Honestly, I am just never at a computer because I am running after the three dudes all the time but let me tell you, my little Wyatt is always by my side. He's my little buddy.

At 4 months...

Length: 25.25 in
Weight: 15 lbs 1 oz
  • he seamlessly rolls from front to back and back to front
  • sits fine in a bumbo or with other assistance
  • smiles and giggles A LOT
  • lights up a whole room with those smiles and giggles
  • coos at you in response to you talking to him
  • scoots around on his back by pushing with his feet
  • sleeps in his own room from 9 P.M. to 8 A.M.
  • drinks five 8 oz bottles a day (8 A.M., 12 P.M., 3 P.M., 6 P.M., 9 P.M.)
  • naps in the morning on the go and in the afternoon in his crib for 2-3 hours
  • loves to be cuddled, sung to, played with
  • sticks his fingers in his mouth but doesn't have a favorite
  • likes to cuddle his nappy
  • wants to hold hands during his bottle
  • is seriously the sweetest baby I have ever met... sorry Zach (the most fun) and Nate (the smartest)
So, sad news in this house is that Wyatt needs to stop being swaddled because he has started to turn over in the swaddle. This is sad news because we LOVE to swaddle and our babies have always responded so nicely to the swaddle- it really helps them sleep and you can tell it comforts them. We stopped swaddling Zach at 6 months and Nate at 8 months! But Wyatt is setting the record and is taking the transition like a champ.
