{She Said} Choose Your Occupation Wisely

Why do so many flight attendants seem to dislike working with people? Don't get into a service industry where all you do is deal with people if you don't like people. There has got to be something different out there for you. AND it isn't like you get into being a flight attendant and could possibly be surprised about the amount of interaction you have with passengers. That would be like me being surprised that I have to hang out with 12 year olds in my position.

It mainly bothers me A: because I don't ever really like when I see someone miserable and not doing anything to help themselves and B: their miserableness affects the rest of us and we don't deserve it. This could be a serious issue for someone with anxiety flying (and a lot of people do). So, public service announcement time: Don't be a flight attendant if you don't like people and don't be a 7th grade teacher if you can't stand 12 year olds.
