{She Said} They Don't Hold the Same Appeal

Remember when you were in school and you would longingly look at the whiteboard (or chalk board if you are old school) and wish you could write on it. Remember how you would think, “if I was a teacher, I would write and draw on my whiteboard all of the time in all the different colors and it would be so fun.”


Well I am a teacher and I don’t do that.

Why? Other than it has lost that magic to me…

Overcrowding of the classroom. Can barely get to my whiteboards without my butt in a student’s face.

In vain. It inevitably gets incidentally wiped off due to a passing sleeve or a bored child.

No time. Busy taking grades and giving talks.

Pointless. They don’t read/ look at it anyway.
