{She Said} 6 Months Down

People laugh when we say he is in a bad mood because he is still pleasant and lovely to be around.

First tooth! And then second tooth in short succession!

Crawling… sort of. Gets up on hands and knees and then lunges forward on to his belly only to repeat the process. It gets him places.

If you smile at him you get a smile in return. Pretty much every time.

Likes doggies. Wishes Capri would give him more attention.

Rolls from back to front and front to back now.

Sucks his thumb when hungry, sleepy, or upset.

Likes to be sung to.

Loves eating big people food. Opens mouth wide for his veggies and rice cereal.

Loves playing with balls- pushes them, scoots toward them, then pushed them again.

Big cuddler.

Big drooler.

Sits up pretty well on his own, still not well enough for mom and dad to be comfortable leaving him sitting without supervision.

Likes to blow bubbles when you put food in his mouth thus spurting the food everywhere.

Starting to prefer to sleep on his tummy. Sometimes sleeps on his side.

Thinks its funny when you get stern with him. Refer to previous post .

Is now very long and skinny. Wears 9 month clothes that actually seem kind of short on him but are very roomy width wise (see height vs weight percentages).
Talks a lot. Likes to say “blah blah blah.” We are working on “yada yada yada.”

Just the best part of mommy and daddy’s lives.
