{She Said} Disney! Epcot

Day 2: EPCOT
With the company of the Semi, we were off via The Monorail!

We mainly focused on the Innovations area of the park… Soarin’, The Living Seas with Nemo and Friends, The Land, and Imagination with my personal favorite- FIGMENT!
We had lunch in Great Britain at the Rose and Crown Pub. Delicious! Anna met the Disney Brit: Mary Poppins!
Zach took a nap.

Then, right as we hit France, the rain rain rain came down down down. After waiting a bit to see if it would quit, we decided to abort and on our way out of the park we rode Spaceship Earth. If you don’t know what Im talking about when I say Spaceship Earth, it is the big Epcot ball. This is a ride that is described by Disney as…

[An] inspiring 16-minute slow-moving omnimover ride transports you through 40,000 years-from the dawn of recorded time to modern day. View prehistoric man, ancient Egypt, the Roman Empire and more before you discover how you might live in the future.
Well, a big part of this 16 minute ride is the narration which, because they are so progressive, Disney offers in a variety of languages. Matt chose Spanish. This really takes away from the ride. Goof ball.
