{She Said} Disney! Arrival and Hollywood Studios

Just after Thanksgiving, we loaded up and embarked on our first journey with the baby… to DISNEY WORLD!

Anxiety… yes.

Problems… no.

It really went quite smoothly! Zach was a champ on the plane. We were all ready and fed him during takeoff on the way there to help with the pressurization. However, it wasn’t time to eat again for the decent and he was asleep so I had a bottle of water ready for him but he just stayed happy as a lark sucking his thumb and floating in and out of consciousness. He did make an odd clicking noise periodically. I tried this myself and it didn’t help me but what do I know.

Soon after we arrived to the happiest place on earth, we went and met up with my Aunt Donna and Uncle George for dinner at the Contemporary resort. We saw the beginnings of the wonderful Christmas decorations and had a delicious meal.
On Sunday, our friends that were meeting us there (that’s right, the Semi were coming!) hadn’t arrived yet so Matt, Zach and I embarked to explore the Hollywood Studios.
We had a stroller and a Baby Bjorn and while we used both, we mainly used the Bjorn and carried Zach A LOT.
Zach became the proud owner of an Indiana Jones Mickey!
We ate at one of our favorite restaurants at Disney- Sci Fi Dine In Theater. It is decorated as if you are outside at a drive in theater at night... dark and quiet and you sit in cars to eat. On the screen, it shows old sci-fi move trailers and drive in movie commercials. It's so fun and a nice break from the day.
That night we met up with the Semi and family for a delicious dinner at the Grand Floridian!
