{She Said} Ahh the Joys... Like a Kite

We watched a video covering the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 in class the other day. I paused the video to discuss some vocabulary and a student raised his hand and asked the following question:


“Could they have put a bird suit on and tied themselves to a tree and then flown over the water like a kite?”

I didn’t have an answer to that.
