{She Said} 5 Christmases

Christmas #1- Friends
Carol came over for dinner one night the week before Christmas and came bearing gifts! Then, a couple nights later we did some Christmasing with the Semi- pizza, gifts, and then driving around looking at Christmas lights with alternating unhappy children.

Christmas #2- Purdy
Boo hosted Christmas for my family this year and did a smash up job! She had a brunch of chicken and waffles (all homemade). We did some stockings, some present opening, and then finished it off with a feast of seafood lasagna and ham.

Christmas #3 - Ours
Two days before Christmas was our Christmas. Santa came and brough Zach a climber, a fraggle and other odds and ends. One favorite stocking stuffer was a toy phone. Matt and I also exchanged stockings and then we made Christmas pancakes, eggs, and sausage. We then ran some errands and prepared for traveling while Zach played with his new goods.

Christmas #4 - Actual Christmas
We were in Brenham at Matt's Parent's house for Christmas. Boo also came over as she was visiting some people in Houston at this point. Zach got to open some presents and we had a lovely breakfast. Other members of Matt's family started showing up after noon and everyone kind of found things to entertain them. Zach got more attention than he ever could have believed possible.

Christmas #5 - Gilpin
We got up and immediately went into stockings. Then breakfast. Then gift opening time. After that everyone played with their new toys and I went shopping with Ryleigh. Zach just went from person to person playing and cuddling but eventually settled on Bobby as his favorite- then they were inseperable. That night Uncle Scott joined us and we had a lovely dinner.
