King of the Jungle

In early December, the middle school put on a production of The Lion King Jr musical. Zach and I went twice and it was outstanding! Zach is at a fun age where he gets plot etc but he also gets caught up in the magic of the show. He would lean over to me periodically and comment on the characters and their plights. He would laugh at funny parts and lean into me when it would get scary or sad. During intermission, he decided he wanted to buy one of the lion masks so that he could be a lion too. At the end of the show, he got to meet a lot of the cast and then on the way home he kept reminding me that Mufasa was his friend.
