This little man is such a joy to be around!
- smiley
- likes hugs and buries his face in his soft pillows, stuffed animals, and blankets
- walking extremely well behind toys, while holding your hands, and along furniture but won't cast off on his own yet
- waves "bye bye" and claps when he's excited
- says "mama" and "baba" well and often- he mimics words well so he will also say the word "tuh" (toy), "udder" (brother), "mo" (more), and "dada" if you give him a little help.
- very independent- loves to interact with people but generally wants his space, if you try to get in his space when he doesn't want it, he will be very squirmy until you leave him alone
- such an explorer- loves to crawl around and look at things and figure out how they work... can figure out how to turn most toys on and what all their bells and whistles do
- has discovered cabinets and wants to know what is in every one
- will bop up and down if music starts
- generally takes two naps a day, likes to fall asleep in the car
- starting to refuse baby food- loves to eat big boy food, favorites include green beans, carrots, bits of meat, egg, and puffs
- sleeps, at night, from 8:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.
- has six teeth... three on top and three on bottom (so he's lopsided)
- is totally entertained by his big brother
Lucky you to catch a glimpse of him in normal clothes... he spends the VAST majority of his time in jammies!
Nate has a bizarre love for the lids to his baby food (see above pic). Like, enough so that I carry one around in my purse to give him if he needs to entertain himself somewhere. He's a climber and always turns around to check with us whether or not it's ok that he is climbing whatever he's climbing. Generally it is not ok.
SO SO strong... here is he pushing his big brother around on a ride-on toy on carpet!
My buddy and me!
