23 years and nine months ago, my parents decided that, despite the fact that their first child had turned out to be a little toot, they wanted their daughter to have a sibling. Then came Becky.

Thanks Mom and Dad. Though she herself can be quite a toot at times, she’s the best gift you have ever given me. She makes me make sense- the oil to my vinegar, the sugar to my spice, the salt to my pepper. I love her more than my favorite thing and I really love my favorite thing.
