I would say that if your child’s nose is running so bad that they have to constantly hold a Kleenex up to it as if they were having a nose bleed that you should probably keep them home and get that looked at.

Inversely, if your child complains daily that they feel like they are going to throw up, after establishing that there is no medical concern here, you should probably stop buying their crap, bring them school and tell them to get over it.
