{She Said} The First of Many... Hopefully

Zach is currently taking the most glorious nap in his crib! This is big news in my house because prior to this he would only nap in either his car seat or on one of us. He has always slept well in his crib at night (knock on wood) but daylight evidently changes things (until today).

This brings up the point of how what excites you and/or what you consider interesting conversation changes after you have a child... Poops, sleeping, feeding, facial expressions, and so on are all fun and fascinating now! I will seriously talk to whoever about them like I would carry on about a particularly compelling episode of reality TV (which,FYI, I am all caught up on if you want to talk about that rather than poops).

I will say that I don't take for granted that he might not do this again in daily session but I can be enthused about today and it's the little things like this that get me through those middle of the night feedings.
